Plan przewidywał przewiezienie mieszkańców do Krymu lub Rosji, z możliwością późniejszego powrotu na terytorium kontrolowane przez Ukrainę. Nieokreślony czas trwania porozumienia pozostawiał niepewność co do długości ochronы операции. В тот же день mutual attacks caused deaths and injuries and damaged critical transport infrastructure in Kyiv.

Co się stało

Kyiv and Moscow agreed on a limited ceasefire around Oleshky to allow humanitarian aid and the evacuation of residents. The Ukrainian and Russian sides confirmed that the humanitarian operation involved a three-stage process: establishing a ceasefire, delivering assistance, and evacuating residents who wished to leave. Dmitry Lubynets traveled to the area to coordinate the mission, which was conducted jointly with the Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Yana Lantratova under the mediation and coordination of Melania Trump.

At the same time, mutual Ukrainian and Russian strikes continued elsewhere. The Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a Russian attack on Kyiv killed one person and injured at least 10. Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said that the Southern Bridge and related subway infrastructure were damaged, and traffic in the affected area was temporarily suspended. Russian officials reported that a Ukrainian drone attack on a passenger bus near Primorsk killed one of the 31 passengers, while the governor of Bryansk region said one person was killed and six injured in another drone attack.

The Oleshky ceasefire began on 27 October at 03:00 Kyiv time, according to one account. A Russian Defense Ministry statement, however, said shelling toward Kherson stopped at 04:00 Moscow time. The duration of the truce was not fixed at the time of publication; one report said the regime in the humanitarian-mission area was intended to remain in force until 22:59 on 1 November.

Jak piszą o tym źródła ukraińskie

Ukrainian reporting emphasizes the civilians affected by the strikes, damage to Kyiv's bridge and subway infrastructure, and the humanitarian mission. Ukrainian officials are presented as confirming compliance with the ceasefire and coordinating the operation. They also warn that Russia could try to prolong the evacuation or influence residents' decisions about whether to leave.

Jak piszą o tym źródła międzynarodowe

International coverage presents the limited ceasefire as a rare de-escalation and highlights Melania Trump's mediation. It also draws attention to the unresolved duration of the truce, continuing threats from drones and mines, and the possibility of similar humanitarian ceasefires elsewhere.

W czym relacje się różnią

The accounts differ on the start time of the ceasefire: one says Russia's shelling toward Kherson stopped at 04:00 Moscow time, while another says the ceasefire began at 03:00 Kyiv time. The differences do not alter the shared conclusion that a limited ceasefire was introduced around Oleshky.

Kontekst

Russian forces occupied Oleshky in the first days of the war in February 2022. As of 17 October, about 1,700 people remained in the town, where residents faced shortages of food and medicine and lacked a safe evacuation route. Explosive drones from both sides and mines on roads leading to Oleshky continued to threaten residents and transport.
